“San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) Underway,” SABCS.

The San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium (SABCS) is the largest scientific meeting devoted to breast cancer. Geared primarily for clinicians and researchers, breast cancer advocates now regularly attend the meeting. For 16 years, the Alamo Breast Cancer Foundation (ABCF) has planned and run a Patient Advocate Program in conjunction with the meeting. It includes a series of Hot Topics Sessions to discuss the most pertinent results of recent studies presented at the conference, in which mentors field questions and comments from advocates.
